Always confirm visa rules, safety advice, prices and opening details with official sources before you travel. We are not responsible for losses arising from relying on this information. For safety, check your own government's travel advice.

Community posts

If you post a tip, review or hangout, you agree that:

• You are 18 or over, and the post is your own words and your own honest experience.
• You give us permission to display it on the site, and to edit or shorten it for clarity or to remove parts that break these terms.
• You will not post anything unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit or misleading, or anything that promotes illegal drugs or other illegal activity.
• You will not post fake or paid reviews, advertising or spam, or false accusations about a person or business. Describe your own experience, not unproven claims.
• You will not post other people's private information, including phone numbers or home addresses.

We review posts and may decline, edit or remove any post at any time, and may block accounts that misuse the site. To report a post or request removal, email travelwithsilentmonk@gmail.com or use the Report button.

Hangouts and meeting other travellers

Hangout posts are organised by their authors, not by us. We do not organise, supervise or vouch for any hangout or the people who attend. If you choose to meet people you do not know, use your own judgement: meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and leave if you feel uncomfortable. You attend at your own risk, and we are not responsible for what happens at or around a hangout.
